Ultra-experience

This pregnancy has been some experience. We are religiously reading What to Expect, parenting magazines, signing up for classes, and trying to enjoy this process. I have never seen an ultrasound picture before, well, until ours. So, I thought I would share this special image from within the womb. It appears as though the baby's legs are up and in between is a "third leg." Speaking of legs, this little one likes to wiggle and kick... does he take after mom or dad???

Return to Shutters

We went back to the exact spot where we were married on July 24th. Yes, it's been one year! We enjoyed all the good things that we had at the wedding: the Harvest salad, filet, fish, and chocolate cake. Of course, Jawsh also had to have a Patron margarita (our signature drink) while I looked on. When we celebrate our second year anniversary, we'll have another person joining us at dinner... anyone able to babysit???

It's a boy!

We recently found out that we are having a boy. My mom was sure of this since I had rubbed the nose of the Dolhareubang while Jawsh and I were at Jeju Island. In the Jeju dialect "Dolhareubang" means "stone grandfather." It's popular for newly married couples to touch the nose of the Dolhareubang, so that a boy will be born to them. While we were there we thought it would be a good picture so I did it. I rubbed the nose. Who knew that it would actually come true! Needless to say, we are excited... now what to name him???
