Crepes!

While I was at work the boys were at the Original LA Farmer's Market at the crepe stand enjoying a day with Daddy.  I should preface this by saying they had a dental appointment which is why they were originally out of school.  But Jawsh decided to spend the day with them starting with crepes, watching a movie, and then eating grass fed burgers at Short Order.  It's not hard to spend the day with Daddy, is it???

Shopping Day

Today was Shopping Day in Green Cluster.  The kids each receive a bag of coins and get to shop around the classroom at different stores that are set up.  Last year I volunteered at the jewelry store where the kids could buy all sorts of sparkly rings, jelly bracelets, and beaded necklaces for amazing deals (3-8 cents).  This year Jawsh volunteered and he ran the Snack Table where there were pretzels and cookies.  This was a very popular store and you can tell by Micah's face that he really enjoyed it!  I wonder what he spent most of  his money on???

Fun times

The boys had a fun time with Emo and (soon to be) Uncle Zack at Mulligans.  Micah really liked the boats although I think it's more of a work out than a relaxing ride.  When will the boys get to hang out with them again???

Micah's message

The boys love going to see their cousins at my parents' house.  Micah was playing around with the magnet letters on the refrigerator and this is the message he left behind.  I texted this image to Jawsh and he said: yup, that about sums it up.  What message will he leave next time???

Gardening

The boys spent the day landscaping the front yard.  They put in low water plants in the front and made a path of stone (not seen here) up to the house.  I think it looks great and can't wait to see how much these plants grow!  Will we be here that long???

Brady Park

My cousin, JooYoung and husband, David, had their first son, Brady.  I met him when he was three days old.  It's been a long while since I've seen or touched a newborn.  When will I see Brady again???

Jogathon- Noah

Noah raced in the afternoon so I was able to attend his race and cheer him on.  He was all business (as you can tell from this picture).  His whole team raced hard and although no one was really keeping track they completed the most laps. Will Noah want to join a track team???

Jog-a-thon- Micah

This year's Jog-a-thon theme was: Teamwork makes the dream work!  The kids were divided into teams and ran as many laps as they could passing a baton along the way.  Micah raced in the morning so unfortunately I missed his race but at least Jawsh could attend.  Micah said he had a great time and enjoyed high fivng the kids hands that were cheering him on.  What will it be like next year???

Open House

I love Open House at the boys school.  It's so fun to see the type of work that the boys are doing.  Noah took us through his class and read us a book that he wrote about how paper is made.  Micah was working on math tiles in class.  I miss spending time volunteering in their classrooms but I see how much they are learning and know that they are in good hands.  What will they do next???

Mother's Day

This morning I woke up to the boys shouting Happy Mother's Day and wonderful challah French toast, organic berries and syrup, and a delicious Americano in the kitchen.  My three guys made this morning very special for me.  Later this evening, we will see my mom to wish her the same.  What will the day bring???

Legoland

Everything is awesome!  Today we surprised the boys to a day trip to Legoland.  It was an all around great day... the weather was really nice, there were not a lot of people, and the longest ride wait was 5-10 minutes.  It was a fun day.  When will we head back???
